Short Term 12 (2013) Rated R

Short term 12Grace a supervisor at residential treatment facility for children deals not just with the kids around her but also tries to comes into terms with her own past. Starring Brie Larson, John Gallagher Jr., Stephanie Beatriz, Rami Malek

Wow, Grace’s issues and how she deals with them or not deal with them was amazingly told. The only flaws that I felt was in this film was when one of the children was so angry they were destroying property and Grace joined in to show solidity. This, I don’t believe would have been acceptable behavior. Other than that it is a wonderful story about at-risk kids and the people who try to encourage them to live a healthier life. The movie keeps you engaged and keeps you emotionally involved in Grace’s struggles as well as the kids. This is one of the best films I have seen this year.
