The Bag Man (2014) Rated R

the-bag-manA criminal hides out in a motel waiting for his boss to arrive to retrieve the bag. Starring John Cusack, Rebecca Da Costa, Robert De Niro

I have to say this is one of the more poorly written scripts I have ever seen, or it was poorly executed. I had figured out what was in the bag pretty much from the being. I also had Rivka figured out as well. Which made the ending pretty weak. It wasn’t as climatic as it should be or as shocking as I believe the filmmakers attended it to be. I struggle with the wonderful actors that signed on to this movie, wondering what drew them to the project. I don’t know what would have made me want to make this film. It’s a pass for me.
