The November Man (2014) Rated R

November Man

An ex-CIA agent is pitted against his former pupil in this action thriller. Based on the novel There Are No Spies by Bill Granger. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Luke Bracey, Olga Kurylenko

This film balanced action sequences and the plot line successfully. However, I couldn’t help but be bothered by Alice Fournier’s failure to ask into Devereaux’s character.  As one who spent much of the movie seeking information about her pursuers, she should have been equally interested in her rescuer. Instead, she unquestioningly accepted his help and blindly followed where he led, believing whatever he told her. Lucky for her, he was not only good-looking but also a good guy.  Apart from this discrepancy, I enjoyed this action film and I recommend giving it a try.
