The Groom Wore Spurs (1951) Rated NR

The Groom wore spursA movie star cowboy gets into trouble in Las Vegas. The only person who can help him is his female lawyer. . . by marrying him. Starring Ginger Rogers, Jack Carson, Joan Davis

I enjoyed this film.  Silly, random, and unpredictable at times, you have to suspend judgment and just go along with it.  Sure, it’s a stretch to imagine someone like Ginger Rogers (as a lawyer?!)  falling for Jack Carson, the cowboy.  And, at times, the script just seems to drop off, with no clear connectedness.  Even so, it is pleasantly entertaining, like something out of a cheap romance novel, which I happen to love, by the way.  This is no Oscar winner, but I still think it is worth a watch.
