This movie was a disappointment, as so many of Sparks’ stories have become for me, of late.  I have been a fan of his for a long time and read many books of his (not including this one), but I am tired of death plaguing each story, and this one is no exception.  Granted, the suspense in finding out who will die and how is enough to keep one’s attention, but I like happily ever after, and this wasn’t it.  This movie is a pass for me.
