Arrow (CW) Rated TV-14

ArrowBillionaire playboy Oliver Queen goes missing; when he returns he’s a changed man. He becomes a vigilante with a hood and an arrow, cleaning up his hometown. Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne.

This is not the best show, but it is entertaining, as Oliver Queen becomes the Green Arrow of the DC world. I love the way they use flashbacks to tell Queen’s story of how he became the hero he is growing into.  As a DC comic, it is not realistic, but it does successfully create a story with depth and performances that make viewers care about the characters.  The stunts are contrived but fun to watch.  It has the right balance of comic and drama, and Amell is pretty easy on the eyes, too.  This show is worth a watch.
