You, Me and the Apocalypse (NBC) Rated TV-PG

You, Me and the ApocalypseA group of ordinary people meet in a bunker in England as a comet is headed toward Earth. Starring Mathew Baynton, Jenna Fischer, Joel Fry, Gaia Scodellaro.

This show threw me for a loop. It has great acting with a story that you think is going one way, but then it totally changes direction.  Baynton is perfectly cast as a man who can’t get over his wife’s disappearance. Fischer is also excellent as a woman convicted of a crime that we aren’t quite sure she committed. Fry is the best friend/roommate and Scodellaro plays a nun who questions her faith. This show is more than meets the eye.  The interconnected and underlying stories keep you interested, wondering where in the world everyone will end up.  It makes for an interesting and worthwhile watch.
