The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) Rated PG

When Prince John and Norman Lord begin oppressing the Saxons, a Saxon lord fights back with a rebel army. Based on the book by Howard Pyle. Starring Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Basil Rathbone.

This is a classic adventure film. Brilliantly shot in technicolor, it brings to life the legend of Robin Hood. Flynn is the perfect embodiment of Robin Hood and de Havilland played Maid Marian perfectly against the dashing Flynn. The swashbuckling scene is by far the best action sequence without the CGI of the future. Although it seems campy at times, it is great fun, and definitely worth a watch.
