I was pleasantly surprised by this one-of-a-kind show.  Concerned that it would liberally promote women’s rights, instead it achieved balance.  The main character is intelligent and thoughtful in her singular role as an MLB player, carefully choosing how to promote herself.  This original series showcases females in a positive, not overbearing, light and strikes a perfect balance between the game of baseball and the personal issues raised by introducing a woman into the MLB.  This is one of the better show this fall and definitely worth a watch.
