I never was a huge fan of Sex and the City, although I did watch a couple of shows. This show focuses on Carrie Bradshaw as a teenager, doing the original Bradshaw a disservice, in my opinion. There was way too much emphasis on her sexual curiosity, which I know all teenagers go through; it just didn’t really work with Carrie. I also felt her family was too lax, allowing the teenagers more freedom than perhaps was good for them. My impression of the young Carrie, based on her conversation and behavior, and her parents’ extreme latitude, was that she was worse than the producers may have intended. This show is a pass.
