A headhunter tracks down a valuable painting from a mercenary. Based on the book by Jo Nesbø. Starring Aksel Hennie, Synnøve Macody Lund, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
This is a solid film about a headhunter who takes on a job, but in his attempt to execute it, everything goes wrong. No, worse than wrong; the whole thing falls completely apart. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. The actors were perfect, and there is plenty of action as we follow headhunter Roger Brown trying to survive on the job. There is a fair amount of blood and gore and enough other disturbing content that I had to remind myself it was just a movie. Still, I can’t help but recommend this exceptional film. It is worth a watch.
