The Mick (FOX) Rated TV-14

the-mickAn aunt who lives recklessly is forced to care for her sister’s wealthy spoiled children. Starring Kaitlin Olson, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Carla Jimenez, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton.

Reminiscent of the movie and series Uncle Buck, this film features an aunt instead of an uncle. There is little of the natural humor its predecessors had, though.  It is quite crude, with jokes that come off stale. I couldn’t have cared less about any of the characters either. The kids are spoiled and disrespectful. Their aunt, although willing to care for them, possesses little love or affection for them. In short, there is nothing to recommend this show; it is a pass.
