Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1986) Rated NR

Huckleberry Finn is a precocious boy who rebels against society and escapes down the Mississippi River for adventure. Based on the book by Mark Twain. Starring Patrick Day, Anne Shropshire, Sada Thompson, Lillian Gish.

A fantastic retelling of the classic book by Mark Twain. Sticking closely to the text and language of Twain, the film really captures the essence of the book. Day was brilliant in his portrayal of Huck, the vulgar boy who captures your heart. The detail is superb, making this rendition a must watch.
