Black Lightning (CW) Rated TV-14

A retired superhero becomes  an avenger for justice. Starring William Catlett, Gregg Henry, Cress Williams.

A couple of observations from the first episode:  1. I love Cress Williams. I’m glad he’s back on TV. 2. I really dislike how they are portraying Black Lightning in this series. They draw out his abilities by exploiting a political stance, which made it hard for me to root for him. The show takes Black Lightning out of context and has terrible special effects. CW isn’t known for great effects, but usually they are better than this. To have a superhero that relies on electricity is pretty lame. No matter how much I enjoy Williams, the show is a waste of time. It is definitely a pass.
