Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (2018) Rated PG-13

A documentary explores the life and lessons of host Fred Rogers. Starring Fred Rogers, Joanne Rogers, and John Rogers.

Having grown up watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, this film brings back the wonder of my childhood. This documentary reminds us of what’s important in life and to love and respect the people around us just as they are. It was wonderful to see his family talk about the man they knew. The film explores the reason Fred started the program, the plans he had for the show, and how much the kids adored him. It’s amazing what God can do with a life that wants to honor him. I think Fred Rogers did that. He wanted to show children the love of God through his show, and he did. This documentary is worth a watch.
