John Nolan, a 40-year-old man, moves to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of being a police officer. Starring Nathan Fillion, Titus Makin Jr., and Eric Winter.
I was pleasantly surprised by this show. We have a 40-year-old man that happens to be going through major life changes and experiences that make him reevaluate his life. His choice is to become a cop, at 40. This, of course, makes for some jokes but he’s in it for the long haul. The show has an ensemble cast; Fillion sets the tone, but the rest of the cast hold their own. The show has stories that pull us in and keep us entertained. I wouldn’t be surprised if this one sticks around. This show is worth a watch.
