I love Busy Philipps, and I love that she wants this show to be a relaxing get together with friends. The problem is the show doesn’t really feel that cozy and comfortable. Now, it can be because she’s still getting her groove on. The guests all seem like “what’s going on?” The commentary feels more like a monologue than just casual chatting with friends. The show might be more of what she wants it to be if she had friends to just chat with without a script. I’m really pulling for the show, but I don’t think it is worth a watch.
