Black Monday (Showtime) Rated TV-MA

A group of outsiders takes on the old boys of Wall Street in the 1980s. Starring Don Cheadle, Andrew Rannells, and Paul Scheer.

This series takes on the story behind the worst stock market crash in history. Here we follow a group of outsiders on Wall Street as they work the market and enjoy the high life with a ticking timeline as the crash looms in the fall of 1987. They have no idea what caused the crash of 1987, but this series thinks they do. The show is a comedy and is well written. The acting is wonderful to watch as Cheadle plays the man who pulls the string and Rannells plays the greenhorn of Wall Street. This show has the sex, drugs, and money that is Wall Street, but it is written well making it worth a watch.
