Snake & Mongoose (2013) Rated PG-13

The untold story drag racers, Don “The Snake” Prudhomme and Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen, who helped change the face of drag racing. Starring Jesse Williams, Richard Blake, Ashley Hinshaw.

This film has a documentary feel to it as it tells the story of Prudhomme and McEwen, whose rivalry became a friendship and a business partnership. They were opposites in personalities, but they changed the way drag racing was promoted. The film isn’t the best acted, and the script isn’t the best. It’s not the best film, but it’s enjoyable to watch as we see the commercialization of racing, in general, emerge. It may have its moments, but this film still isn’t worth a watch.
