This TV special is just a concert of Haggard’s music performed by many artists that are inspired by his songs. It’s not a biography of his life or interviews with people who knew him. I have never really been a fan of Haggard. I know some of his songs, but his life and career never intrigued me. Although there are a number of other performers in this concert that I do enjoy, making the show interesting, it isn’t enough to make it worth a watch.
