Two schoolteachers battle it out in a holiday baking contest to win the affections of a single father. Starring Erin Krakow, David Haydn-Jones, and Miranda Frigon.
This is one of those cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies. It’s one that tends to lean on the unrealistic side of life. Nothing really makes sense, not that any Hallmark film makes sense, it’s just nice to feel like you can identify with the characters on some level. However, in this film, you just can’t. We have two school teachers living in a small town who continue to try and one-up each other, as they have for years. Enter the newly single father in town, and now they both vie for his attention. All this happens with Christmas in the background. There’s no chemistry, and it’s not really very heartwarming. This is a film that is not worth a watch.
