Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020) Rated PG-13

Bill and Ted have been told they would save the universe with a song, but they haven’t. Now, as middle-aged fathers, they must find the song that saves the universe. Starring Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, and Kristen Schaal.

I have yet to watch either of the other Bill and Ted films. This film is a great homage to the other two while at the same time bringing in the new generation. Reeves and Winter do look and act a little out of place as middle-aged men acting like teenagers. The two just don’t seem to fit together. The film has a nostalgic feel to it, but it doesn’t have the charm that the other films are known for. The daughters also felt out of place; it’s obvious that they wanted gender fluid girls for the part, trying to make them mini dads, but it felt out of place. The story needed to be told to complete the trilogy, but it was out there. This film is not worth a watch.
