I was pleasantly surprised by this remake of the series. It’s well acted, and it brings the books to life. Of course, with all book-to-screen adaptations, there are creative differences. However, the differences don’t change the feel of the stories that Herriot tells about his practice with animals and humans. Although, the romance with his wife takes a more central role in this series. This series is worth a watch.
