The Edge of the Garden (2011) Rated TV-PG

A single man buys an abandoned house and starts communicating with a woman who lived there 50 years ago. Starring Rob Estes, Sarah Manninen, David Lewis, and Kelly Monaco.

This is one of those Hallmark films that doesn’t seem to make much sense. The premise of the film is intriguing, but the plot holes do not impress. We have a man, who just had a break up with his fiancée, move across country and buy a run-down house. He makes thousands of dollars and he suddenly decides to take on a fixer upper. Then, there’s the supernatural aspect of the ghost (a former owner’s wife) communicating with him. The film expects you to have a suspension of disbelief throughout because nothing makes sense. It lacks everything that is typical in a Hallmark romance. This film is not worth a watch.
