In small town in Texas, a misfit discovers a roller derby league in the city. Starring Sarah Habel, Shannon Eagen, and Edward Austin Kelly.
To me, there was nothing special about this film. It’s the typical story of the outcast that finds other outcasts and they become a family. There was nothing much that stood out about the story. The film tries to give us some action and glitter, but all that seems to be lost in the simpleness of the story. The parents were portrayed rather better than in other films. They loved their children, and it shows. It’s a film that is subdued and politically correct. If you haven’t seen it, you’re not missing anything. It’s not worth a watch.
