After being mistaken for a young woman, a single 40 something mother decides to become a 26-year-old for a job. Based on the novel by Pamela Redmond Satran. Starring Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, and Debi Mazar.
This show is smart and funny. At first, I worried that the premise wouldn’t work, but it does. They take the concept that people will believe whatever you tell them and while it works for a moment, the show moves on to see how long Liza (40 year old woman) can lie to those around her. The show is brilliantly written, taking all the questions you have about how this would work and making it true to life. The show is perfectly casted with Foster and Duff. I absolutely love Sutton Foster as Liza. She has transitioned to the small screen wonderfully, first with Bunheads and now with Younger. I can’t wait to see where else she heads. This show is worth a watch.
