On a whim, a Las Vegas showgirl marries a man and moves to his small town, where she works with her mother-in-law at her dance studio. Starring Sutton Foster, Kaitlyn Jenkins, Julia Goldani Telles, Bailey De Young, Emma Dumont.
This TV series only lasted one year, but it should have been longer. I was sad when I heard it had been canceled. The show follows the dancer, who made a crazy decision but then stuck by it, learning to grow and change through it. It was also well-written, showing a range of teen girls going through the pains of growing up and together as a dance family, dealing with life’s ups and downs along the way. The actors were all perfect for their roles. Sutton Foster is suited well for television, as she is now proving on Younger. Really, all the girls were good, and their prior dance experience helped bring credibility to the show. It’s worth a watch.
