A mobster is put into the witness protection program where he falls for his next door neighbor whose daughter needs to make cookies for her girl scouts. Starring Rick Malambri, Pippa Black, Mackenzie Foy
This story is not a bad concept, it’s just poorly written and then executed. This is a watered down mob story. The mobster’s aren’t really bad guys and mothers can’t bake. The acting is horrendous. There are moments that are redeeming but over all it’s just a vanilla mobster cookie. I think the story is made more for kids than adults. It’s just as watered down on the romance side of the story. I think the filmmakers were trying to turn the stereotypes on the head but it just falls apart and it’s too sweet. So sweet that you rather have a hot tamale to wash it down. This film is not worth a watch.
