Z for Zachariah (2015) Rated PG-13

Three survivors of a global disaster find themselves in a love triangle as the last known humans. Based on the book by Robert C. O’Brien. Starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Margot Robbie, and Chris Pine.

The film is mostly a story about human nature. It’s a slow-paced film, and it left me with a lot to be desired. The film mostly revolves around the complexity of the three characters and their personalities. There are some plot holes, and it has little to do with the sci-fi genre. It’s a drama with romance, but it doesn’t leave much of an impression. The performances are good, but since there is nothing going for the film, they just stick there. The film is just too slow to be appreciated for what it is. This film is not worth a watch.
