Christmas in Connecticut (1945) Rated NR

A food writer who passes herself off as the perfect housewife must cover her deception when her boss and a war hero invite themselves over for Christmas. Starring Barbara Stanwyck, Dennis Morgan, and Sydney Greenstreet.

This is a wonderful Christmas film that is about a comedy of errors as the writer tries to cover up the truth that she is no cook, not a wife, and not a mother. During the wonderful chaos of trying to uphold the lie, she falls for the war hero, which opens another can of worms. It’s a wonderful comedy that highlights friends, family, and the joys of the season. This is a great Christmas film and should be on your watch list of the season. It’s worth the watch.
