New York Undercover (FOX) Rated TV-14

It’s criminals vs. cops as undercover agents fight crime in New York City. Starring Malik Yoba, Michael DeLorenzo, and Patti D’Arbanville.

This show highlights the gritty side of New York cops, and it showcases minorities fighting crime in the neighborhoods that surround them. While this show is unprecedented in its years on TV, I was not impressed. It’s a show geared toward those who enjoy the urban lifestyle. I don’t get the appeal; I’m a country girl at heart. While its urban setting brings the gritty spirit to life, it limits the audience who might identify with the lives in the neighborhood. This show is not worth a watch.
