This dark comedy follows a group of friends that get involved in a mystery when one of their own goes missing. Starring Alia Shawkat, John Reynolds, and John Early.
This show doesn’t know what it wants to be – is it a mystery or a comedy? It’s really bad if they are going for a dark comedy. A dark comedy is supposed to be about something dark, e.g., a murder or a missing person, but this script has moments of funny, usual sarcasm – not slapstick. Although, when done right, slapstick could be funny at a funeral. This show doesn’t have good comedy or mystery. Then you add on the lack of relatable characters. None of them make you care about them or the mission they are on. They don’t have much depth. This show is not worth the watch.
