Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (A&E) Rated TV-14

A series talks to those that have left the Church of Scientology because of their harmful practices. Starring Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and Mary Kahn.

I have always thought that Scientology was a cult and this series proves it. The definition of a cult is a religion that has taken God out of the equation. Scientology does that and more; it separates parents and children from each other. It takes away those around you, so your only focus is the cult. Scientology does that. It’s horrific what these former members went through and Remini, due to her fame, just dealt with a fraction of what the others went through. I thank God that Remini wants to shine a light on Scientology. Sure, former members have a bad taste in their mouths from a religion that they believed was real, but they all don’t have similar experiences. This show is worth the watch, and I wish we could do more about taking down this cult.
