The Michaels (2014) Rated NR

A divorce lawyer goes on a series of dates with guys named Michael because she believes her destiny is to marry one. Starring Larisa Oleynik, Brant Daugherty, and Elliott Gould.

The premise of the film is one that has been done before. What romance hasn’t had a girl trying to live out what she envisioned for her life? So, the premise is fun, but it really isn’t one of the best films. It is very inconsistent with the script. It has the boyfriend texting and then blindfolding his girlfriend, which doesn’t make sense. Another inconsistency is when she’s told to be at the fountain at nine, but she’s there at eight and looks at her watch twice and it’s still eight. Surprising, or not, I also figured out the ending before it arrived. This film is so poorly written, no wonder it is a TV movie. You can’t even get into the story because it doesn’t make any sense; thus, the film is not worth the watch.
