The Sheriff of Tombstone keeps the law of the town in order with his deputies and the editor of the paper. Starring Pat Conway, Richard Eastham, and Quentin Sondergaard.
This show, in the age of Westerns on TV, was brilliant in the storytelling. The tag that the show uses brings you into the old world of Westerns: “An actual account from the pages of my newspaper, the Tombstone Epitaph. This is the way it happened… in the town too tough to die.” Now, whether these stories are actually from the Epitaph is not always clear, but it gives us great stories. It doesn’t hurt that Conway is easy on the eyes. This is one series that is worth the watch.
