This is a guilty-pleasure film. It’s made for women with its romance, but it’s a great story that isn’t about fluff. The film tells the life of a woman whose heart is broken with the way she thought her life would go. It’s as realistic as it can be. There are moments that just tear at your heartstrings. Bullock has always played the girl-next-door brilliantly and she does it again in this film. The chemistry between Connick and Bullock is warm and friendly, which is just what a woman needs after her world falls apart. This film is worth the watch.
