A family man goes camping with his family and his brother. Starring Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, and Stephanie Faracy.
I was never a big fan of John Candy, but the older I get and the raunchier the current comics become, the more I enjoy Candy’s humor. This is one of those classic films of John Candy. In this film he plays the straight-laced character against his brother who is annoying. You always get a few laughs from this, and it’s helpful that Dan Aykroyd plays opposite of him. This film is very reminiscent of vacations growing up that don’t go as planned. It also helps that this is a John Hughes film; there aren’t many that I don’t like. The mix of it all makes for a great comedy about families. This is a film worth the watch.
