I actually like this film. There is nothing outstanding about it, but it is brilliantly written. I was also impressed with Holland as the small-town girl going after the big money in town. Then you have the actors with the chops, West and Mulroney. I’ve lived in a small town, and I could see these scenarios happening – especially if you have a big wig in town that’s taking over. It helps that the soundtrack matched the tone of the film. Granted, nobody is perfect in this film, and I’m not sure that in real life it would end so cut and dry, but for a film, it doesn’t need to. It’s worth the watch.
