This series showcases the history of Cuba and what makes it unique in the world. While I would like to some day see Havana, I’m not sure it would be wonderful to visit. The reality of life in Cuba may be getting better, but it might not be tourist-ready. Baer joins three different people from Cuba with different visions of the city they love. One is a pianist, one is a dancer, and one is a restorationist. They show off different places that bring life to Cuba. However, there are problems with Cuba that are not highlighted, which might make you wonder if they really want a tourist coming in. Even so, it’s a country that does make bucket lists for a reason, making this series worth a watch.
