This is a remake of the 1971 film, and this version has a number of names attached to it in order to draw you in. While the acting isn’t bad, Sofia Coppola does use a fair amount of sensualized acting to push the story along. The brilliant cinematography was beautiful, but the story gets lost in the atmosphere. Basically, this film has no substance to the story or the characters. It’s a film that is not worth a watch.
