Follows Mica Miller’s life and death, as a pastor’s wife, and worship leader. She lived with alleged abuse, and stalking from her husband. Starring Mica Miller, John Paul Miller, Charlotte Korn
I vaguely remember hearing about this case and the family questioning the suicide. This documentary takes a look at Mica’s life through her eyes. The family believes that her husband may have contributed to her death. I don’t doubt that with the years of emotional, physical, sexual, and financial abuse she endured that she thought the only way to end it would be death. This miniseries only looks at Mica’s side of things. There are issues inside the church that are obvious and scary. This church is very unhealthy, and it’s not surprising because the pastor lives in sin. He turns scripture around to defend his sin. While the documentary brilliantly tells Mica’s side through her family and friends, who tried to save her, there is more to the story. This miniseries is worth the watch.
