I just caught this show. It’s a wonderful show about two friends who come from different backgrounds to solve murders. The series is based on Tess Gerritsen’s books that follow Jane Rizzoli. The chemistry between the two main actresses work. Having two actresses in strong lead roles is a breath of fresh air. It may be the amount of crime shows on the air but I did feel that the writing was lacking. I’ve been down these story lines before but seeing two women at the helm is a joy. What worries me is that there are too many crime shows on the air, will this show get lost in the shuffle?
I hope not. This is one that I was thinking had potential. I have been enjoying this one.

Not a brainiac show – but very entertaining (Rizoli’s family – brothers – VERY interfering and entertaining, and especially her mother – she’s a hoot) and remembering the other actress on NCIS for so many years – with dark brown hair, and the way she left the show (gruesome/sad/quick) – and how extremely different her charter (and VERY successful in the swing) was in this was terrific. Not fine art, but fine entertainment. If you want a mystery w/interesting characters, intelligent (and let’s face it, attractive women) with humor thrown in – it’s a great rainy day watch!
