Two families take a cruise to San Juan for Christmas. Starring Charlotte Ross, Colin Ferguson, Devon Werkheiser

This was an unusual Christmas film. Two families who have both lost a spouse take a Caribbean cruise to forget their troubles for Christmas.  As they work through their losses, they connect with each other, having much in common.  When one of the ex-spouses arrives on the island to re-join her family, the two families must decide how to proceed.

The movie was well-done, but I was confused by the added element of Christmas magic in an otherwise serious and realistic movie.  I would think being in the Caribbean would be incentive enough for love.  Even so, the magical element fits, bringing these two special families together.  I think the film is worth a watch.
