Argo (2012) Rated R

argoA CIA agent goes undercover as a Hollywood film producer to rescue six Americans in Tehran during the U.S. hostage crisis in Iran in 1980. Starring Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Victor Garber, Tate Donovan, Kyle Chandler, Chris Messina.

This film, which reveals the virtually unknown story of the rescue of six Americans in Tehran, is brilliantly executed. Even knowing the outcome, I was still held in suspense throughout the film.  It was amazing to see what lengths they went to to rescue these people, putting their own lives on the line for them. I understand that the rescue was not quite as dramatic as the film portrayed, but still, what a story!  It is definitely worth a watch.
