The Story of Us with Morgan Freeman (NatGeo) Rated NR

Morgan Freeman travels the world to talk to people from different cultures about the fundamentals of life. Each episode takes on a topic, including: love, belief, power, war and peace, rebellion and freedom. Starring Morgan Freeman.

This series disappointed me. I really enjoyed Morgan Freeman’s series, The Story of God, which tackled the different aspects of God as well as other religions and how they see God. That show was intriguing. This one seemed more like an attack on other people’s perceptions of what is truly fundamental to our existence, rather than a celebration of our differences. It felt more negative and seemed to pit people against each other rather than try to find common ground. It is a pass.
