An unspectacular Hallmark production, this film travels a well-worn story line. A hard-nosed judge takes in a troubled teen who just wants to be part of a loving family. Both have their relationship issues to overcome in order to care for each other. There are no surprises. Well-written and performed, it is easy to connect into these characters’ lives. However, the predictability keeps me from recommending it. This film is a pass.
