The Christmas Ornament (2013) Rated TV-G

A widow plans to skip the holiday festivities as they remind her of her late husband. Starring Kellie Martin, Cameron Mathison, and Jewel Staite.

This hallmark film is one of the better ones. Here we have a grieving wife who doesn’t want to celebrate the holiday season because of how much her late husband enjoyed the holiday. In walks a man who greatly enjoys the holiday and wants to help her out of her funk. Kellie Martin delivers an enjoyable performance as a woman grieving, so much so that I would love to see her in more Hallmark movies. Cameron Mathison also fits well into the Hallmark family. The chemistry between the two is lovely. Of course, it’s also a great form of advertisement for the Hallmark keepsake ornaments. This is one film worth a watch during the holiday season.
