There isn’t anything horrible about this film, but there isn’t anything that makes it stand out. The movie is a romantic comedy that has a woman of influence fall for the guy on the wrong side of the tracks. It includes the usual clichés of a woman of prominence and a man who struggles in life as a black man. There isn’t a lot of depth to the script; although, Tyler Perry tries to go there with the clichés of the African-American lives. I enjoyed that they make the dad have some balls and work hard to provide for his family. Still, this film is not worth a watch.
