The violent life of the Philadelphia mob – from friendships, family, and betrayal. Starring Matthias Schoenaerts, Joel Kinnaman, and Maika Monroe.
This film provides a realistic look at the workings of the mob. The story doesn’t have much to it, and it runs slow. It’s also not the most original tale. However, the actors are brilliant. The film has a lot going for it – it just missed the mark. There is nothing about the film that strikes any emotion in the story or the characters. Most mob films have action, but this film has little action, which makes it more realistic – but without the action, you question why you should care about these characters. This film is not worth a watch.
