I actually enjoyed this farce of a tale. Allison Janney plays the woman whose husband disappeared and she rather enjoys the attention she gets from it. You can’t take this film seriously. If you take it seriously, you won’t enjoy its comical moments. The only part that I struggled with was the age difference between Janney and Mila Kunis as sisters. I know they are half sisters, but Janney is old enough to be her mother. So, to me, the age difference is too big. One of the highlights is Awkwafina; I am still in awe of her performance. The actors really do a fine job at making each scene real as the absurdity of the story unfolds. This story is worth a watch.
